September 17 Monarch Butterfly Release
On Saturday, September 17, we were visited by local butterfly authority, Glenn Curtis, for a butterfly workshop and Monarch butterfly release. Participants got to see and touch caterpillars, chrysalises, milkweed and butterflies and learned how to attract and support these disappearing pollinators.
